▍Exothermic Riser Sleeve
The sleeve wall contains exothermic material. After pouring, intense heat release keeps the metal in the riser liquid for a long time, and feeding efficiency can reach 2-3 times that of an ordinary riser. Used with a breaker core, shrinkage cavities are concentrated in one position for easy cleaning and grinding - widely used for cast steel and large ductile iron parts.
▍Insulating Riser Sleeve
Made from low-thermal-conductivity materials such as floating beads and refractory fibre to reduce heat loss from the riser and extend solidification time. It costs less than exothermic risers and is suitable for feeding castings of medium modulus, noticeably reducing riser volume and raising process yield by 10%-25%.

Riser sleeve specifications should be selected according to casting modulus, feeding distance and pouring process. You can provide casting drawings and pouring parameters and we will help calculate the riser modulus and recommend specifications and quantities. Standard sizes are kept in stock; special shapes and sizes can be custom-molded.
