Key Product Notes
▍Silica Furnace Lining (Acidic Lining)
Based mainly on high-purity quartz sand with low impurities and low expansion coefficient, it forms a dense lining body after ramming and sintering with strong resistance to molten iron penetration. It is the classic lining material for melting gray iron, ductile iron and copper/aluminium non-ferrous metals. We can adjust the aggregate/fines grading to furnace capacity and melting temperature, balancing sintered layer thickness and transition layer stability to reduce cracking and spalling; normal campaign life reaches a high level in the industry.
▍High-Alumina Furnace Lining (Neutral / Basic Lining)
Using super-grade high-alumina bauxite and fused corundum as aggregates, it has high refractoriness and strong resistance to slag erosion and molten metal scouring. It is suitable for cast steel and special alloy melting, and can also be used as a ramming repair material for silica linings to help extend overall lining life.
▍Mica Paper
Mica paper (calcined phlogopite / synthetic mica paper material) is an indispensable insulating and heat-barrier accessory in medium-frequency induction furnace lining installation. Wrapped between the inner side of the induction coil and the rammed lining, it is the key barrier protecting the induction coil and ensuring safe furnace operation. It has three core functions:
- 1Electrical insulation: high breakdown voltage and stable dielectric performance, effectively preventing creepage breakdown between the induction coil and the lining;
- 2Heat insulation and buffering: reduces heat radiation from the lining to the coil and the risk of molten metal leakage, and provides a sliding buffer layer for lining expansion and contraction;
- 3Coil protection: if the lining locally thins and molten iron leaks, the mica paper layer provides time for alarm and shutdown, avoiding burnout of the induction coil.
We supply mica paper in thicknesses from 0.15 to 1.0 mm, either in full rolls to suit coil inner diameter and furnace height or pre-cut into cylinders, packed together with asbestos cloth and barrier plates for immediate use on site.

Packaging, Storage & Transport
Furnace lining material is packed in 25 kg woven bags or kraft paper bags, shipped on full pallets with stretch film wrapped around the pallet; mica paper rolls are protected in cartons / wooden cases, moisture-proof and compression-resistant. Store in a dry warehouse, protected from rain and moisture, and use as soon as possible after opening. Same-day or next-day delivery around Wuhan by full truckload or LTL; direct logistics to other provinces.
